The Surgery in Fort Augustus

Cill Chuimein Medical Centre Fire Update

The practice will now operate out of the rooms upstairs in the Telford Centre from Wednesday 4th November while we look for a more permanent solution.

The rooms upstairs are accessible by lift for those who are unable to use the stairs.

The practice phone number will remain the same (01320 366216) but there is currently only one line in operation and we would ask that you be patient when calling in.

We would ask that patients continue to request repeat prescriptions from the pharmacy by calling 01320 366813.

With this temporary solution now in place we will now work towards getting back to normal operations and would like to thank everyone for their patience and understanding during what has been a difficult time for the practice and our patients.

We would especially like to thank Rev Tabea Baader for her exceptional hospitality at the manse, for Melanie Meecham, Primary Care Manager for her unstinting support and guidance and to the staff at the Telford Centre for their warm welcome and help in setting us up in our new premises.

According to the poster on
the surgery door we should
all know more about

"Glengarry Shinty Club had their Players Player of the Year 2015 at The Bothy Fort Augustus enjoying an excellent meal with President John MacDonald presenting the Players choice Mathew Clark with shield and individual trophy. Everyone agreed the club had a good season, giving Newtonmore an excellent game in The Strathdearn Cup final and runners up in North Division Two. The juniors also did very well with numbers increasing and it is good to see them feeding into their senior team and this is all down to the devotion of coaches, committee and volunteers who work tirelessly for the club a huge thank you to them. We are always looking for volunteers so if you are in our locality and have some time to give please get in touch"
